My name is Rachael Valencia and I’m the owner of Full Circle Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and I received my Masters’ Degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology. I have graduated from training in IFS, EMDR, and Animal-Assisted Therapy. I have also completed training in Play Therapies, Trust-Based Relational Interventions (TBRI), and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). While I specialize in treating children, teens, and families, I welcome working with adults. I believe in creating a space where I can help people tap into their own internal resources and their own ability to heal. I truly love this work and my clients. I know it takes so much courage to ask for help and I’m so grateful you are here.
Outside of being a therapist, I love to water ski on Lake Powell, lift weights, play tennis, and spend time with my husband and daughter.

Kathleen Shook, LPC
I'm Kathleen Shook, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado trained in IFS and EMDR. I have over 9 years of experience working as a therapist with children, teens, and their caregivers. I approach my clients with curiosity, warmth, and acceptance, while simultaneously encouraging my clients toward growth. My passion is helping parents recognize and tend to the parts of themselves that are feeling hurt, lost, lonely, angry, and overwhelmed in their role as a caregiver so that they can show up for their kids as the secure and confident leader that they want to be. When I'm not meeting with clients you can find me enjoying the simple pleasures of life - taking an evening walk, practicing yoga at home, hiking to an alpine lake, or playing with my two kids on the floor.

Ashton Baker, LSW
My name is Ashton Baker and I am a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Colorado. I hold a Bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Studies and a Masters in Social Work. I have six years of experience walking alongside individuals and families on their journeys towards growth and healing. My therapeutic approach is grounded in the belief that you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to meet you where you are, providing support and guidance expertly tailored to meet your needs along the way. Each time you step into the space we share together, you will be greeted with curiosity, warmth, openness, and playfulness.
When working with children, I place a strong emphasis on the parent-child relationship and the ways in which connection and understanding can create a foundation for growth and healing. I use a multimodality approach to tailor our work together, and have experience utilizing Person-Centered therapy, Play therapy, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Behavioral therapy, Dialectal Behavior therapy, Internal Family Systems, and I am currently working toward certification in PCIT (Parent-Child Interaction Therapy) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to further enhance the tools I can offer. Whether you’re healing from trauma, navigating challenges, or simply seeking a space to explore and reflect, I look forward to meeting you and walking this path together.
Outside of the therapy room, I value the joy of gathering with family and friends and believe in the power of building community. You can find me camping, hiking 14ers, snuggling my dog, crocheting with my friends, or tackling home projects with my husband.

Huey
Hi, I’m Huey! I’m an Australian Shepherd who loves to play fetch and to catch a frisbee (I’m pretty good at it too if I say so myself). My favorite treat is peanut butter and I love coming to work to play with friends and show off my cool tricks.
I completed basic, intermediate, and advanced obedience training. Rachael and I became certified with Professional Therapy Dogs of Colorado.
